Greetings from Delhi! Thank you for your continued prayers for the ministry of Partners in Equipping. Your prayers are a great source of strength for us to carry on the work the Lord has entrusted with us.
We want you to join us in thanking God for enabling us to accomplish what we could and also pray specifically for the following programmes that will take place during the second half of November 2015.
• Malaysia: Partners in Equipping, with the cooperation of Pastors James Krishnan and Jeeva James from Malaysia, conducted 14 Church Based Workshops in Malaysia during the month of October. We are grateful to our Tamil ministry coordinator, Pastor Jacob Raj for sparing his time to conduct these workshops.
• Sri Lanka: Pastor Jacob Raj our Tamil ministry coordinator is already in Sri Lanka conducting a few workshops in the northern part of the country. I will be travelling to Sri Lanka on November 17th to help with Leadership and Teacher Training workshops to be conducted in Vavuniya, Pastor Jacob Raj has already identified 15 leaders, from the various workshops he conducted in Sri Lanka during his previous (in July) and also the present visits.
It is very essential that we also want to identify two or three leaders at various parts of the country to provide leadership to the work in Sri Lanka. Our aim is to see that the ministry can be sustained with local teachers and trainers in every country.
• Partners Retreat: The staff partners from South Asia will meet for three days at a Retreat Centre, near Palakkad, Kerala, This Retreat will take place from November 25 to 27. About 50 participants are expected to be there for a time of fellowship, prayer, studying the Word, reporting and reviewing the work already done and planning for the next year. For us it is an important annual event and a really hectic time. We expect ten new participants this year, three from Bangladesh and rest from different parts of India to join us. For some of the participants, the will be very long, right across the country taking three days for traveling one way.
